Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 11 August 2026
This is our current policy. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@swalfy.com.
Two kinds of data
Swalfy stores two kinds of data: your business account, if you are a Swalfy client, and the WhatsApp conversations your customers send to your number. Here is how each can be deleted. See our Privacy Policy for how we use this data before it is deleted.
If you are a Swalfy client
You can permanently delete your entire workspace yourself, right now:
- Log in to your Swalfy dashboard.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Delete workspace, type your business name to confirm.
- Select Delete forever.
This immediately and permanently erases every conversation, message, appointment, lead, your WhatsApp connection, and your account. It cannot be undone, and there is no recovery period.
If you would rather we did this for you, or you cannot access your account, email hello@swalfy.com from the address on file and we will verify you and delete your workspace on your behalf within 30 days.
If you are a customer who has messaged a business using Swalfy
The business you messaged controls that conversation data, not us — they are its data controller. Contact them directly first if you want your messages deleted.
You can also email hello@swalfy.com with the name of the business and the WhatsApp number you messaged from, and we will locate your conversation data and delete it within 30 days. We will let you know once this is done.
What deletion removes
Conversations, messages (including voice-note transcripts), appointments, leads, and any knowledge-base files uploaded for that business.
What we keep after deletion
A short record that a deletion took place — the business name, the date, and a scrambled version of the requester's email address — kept so we can show a deletion happened if asked. This record does not contain any customer's messages or personal data. We also keep billing records connected to payments already made, as required by law.

Email hello@swalfy.com for any deletion request. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more detail.
